An official announcement is expected Monday, per the report. Shulman, 57, would replace Anthony Boone, who was dismissed March 2 after Central Arkansas posted a 9-23 (5-11 Atlantic Sun Conference) record in the 2023-24 season. Shulman was the head coach at Chattanooga from 2004-13 and had a 145-146 record with two NCAA Tournament appearances.
At Alabama Hunstville of the Gulf South Conference, a Division II program, Shulman has a 112-39 overall record in five seasons.
